Playtime

I like to play and I'm exploring new things every day. Mom really likes this picture of me. (Notice my tongue.) I'm supposed to sit in the top part, but I think crawling around in the bottom part is a lot of fun.

Fletcher continues to be my best friend. The other day, I played cow girl and fletcher was my pony. Every little girl needs a pony.

9-Month Photos

Today was my 9-month birthday. My Mom decided this was a perfect opportunity to get some pictures taken at a studio. As you can see, there were some good ones, but my mom had to act really funny to get me to smile at times. I love Mom, but she's goofy.

Crawling

Look out! I'm now mobile. After being really close for several weeks, and getting really good at scooching backwards on my bum, I finally crawled on 1-11-11. My mom captured some of my first movements while my dad was working a basketball game. But he said when he saw the video he was very proud.

Happy Faces

As all my loyal readers know, I love to smile for the camera, and the camera loves me. You want further proof. Look at these three photos.

Christmas

My first Christmas was very exciting. I got a lot of neat toys and clothes and got to spend some good time with my family.

My day started with lunch with Grandma Linda and Great-Grandma and Papa

After lunch, Mom shared some ice cream. It was good.

After lunch, I spent some time with Uncle Hugh.

We then got to open presents. I tried to eat mine.

Then we went to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Larson and Uncle Eric. I got a stuffed dog that looks just like my puppy Fletcher.

Opening up presents is hard work and takes a lot of concentration.

But I managed to open up all the gifts and as you can see, it was quite a haul for me.

As much fun as the toys were, the bows were also fun to wear.

Baptism

My baptism was back in late October. I wanted to put the videos and photos on here earlier, but Dad was slow in getting them to me. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I got to go up in front of everyone at church. They were all looking at me, and laughed at everything I did. That's kind of the way it should be - all eyes on me. Since then, every time we go to church we have to sit in the back and Dad tells me to be quiet when I start talking.

After the ceremony we took a lot of pictures with my family.

Here's one with Pastor Clay

And one with just my parents. I don't know where they were looking.

If you couldn't make it, here's some video. As you can see, I was the star.

Sweet Shoes

I am a very lucky girl. Nike sent some pink and purple shoes to the Michigan State men's basketball team. My dad says they were too small for any of the players, so the equipment guy gave them to me.
